You can’t beat the sweet taste of fresh berries. No matter when you have them, they always taste like summer. Berries of all sorts add great color to your juices, as well as many potent antioxidants. Bottom’s up!
The Berry Basic
Nothing fancy, just a fine mix of fruits and vegetables for a basic berry blend.
- 2 tart apples
- 2 small cucumber
- 1 handful of blueberries
- 1 handful of strawberries
- 1 handful of raspberries
- 1 handful of blackberries
- 1 shot of wheatgrass or spinach juice
You can mix and match up the berries to suit what’s available. This one gives you a great blend of flavors though. Just remove any stems or berry leaves, and juice it all up.
Kale-Cran Smoothie
Yes, this is a smoothie rather than a juice blend recipe but I couldn’t resist the cranberry and kale combo.
- 1/2 cup cranberries
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 1 shot kale juice
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- A few ice cubes
Put everything in your handy blender, and whip up into a smoothie. Add more ice if you want to thicken it up.
Red, Black and Green Juice
A zesty combo of berries, vegetables and green juice. With the ginger in there, it’s the kind of juice recipe to get your energized.
- 3 small raw beets
- 2 apples (tart or sweet, you choose)
- 1 handful of blackberries
- 1/2 chunk of fresh ginger, peeled
- 1 shot of wheatgrass juice
Juice it all up, give it a stir and enjoy.
Tropical Berry Blend
The tart flavor of pineapple goes wonderfully with wheatgrass juice, so this is a
- 1/3 of a pineapple, cored and chopped
- 1/2 cup cranberries
- 1/2 cup strawberries
- 1 apple
- 1 shot wheatgrass juice
Remove the heavy rind from the pineapple and core the apple. Chop where needed, and run it through your juicer.
Tart Green Berry
Don’t worry, the sweetness of the fruit helps to balance the tang of the lemon juice. It’s a lovely mix.
- 1 bunch of spinach leaves
- 1 green apple
- 1 lemon, peeled
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 cup raspberries
